TEST Fall Registration

Welcome, San José Symphonic Choir singers! Our 22-23 Season begins soon, and we look forward to seeing you. The first step is registration, which will open on Monday, August 29th. Rehearsals begin on Sunday, September 11 at the “Butterfly Church” in Pacific Grove, and Monday, September 12 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in San José.

The Fall Semester will open with a Baroque concert, featuring Bach cantatas, and Handel’s Dixit Dominus. We will have the joy and cheer of our first live You-Sing-It Messiah since 2019 to look forward to, as well as a holiday concert with Nova Vista Symphony, and caroling at senior residential facilities.

This season we will be returning to rehearsal in-person only. We will continue to keep protocols in place to help maintain a safe environment. Like last year, all members are required to provide proof of full vaccination as part of the registration process. If you provided your information last year, you’re all set, and need not do so again. (Full vaccination is defined as having received two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two weeks before the start of rehearsals.) SJSC is not requiring proof of having received a booster; should it be deemed necessary, please be advised you will be expected to comply in order to continue participating.

To register, complete the following steps:

STEP 1: Complete and submit the online registration form. Include your proof of full vaccination, if you have not done so before. (See Step 3 below.)

STEP 2: Submit your payment for tuition, and music, by one of the following methods:
a. Register and pay online by credit card using Stripe; or
b. Submit a check and your printed registration confirmation form by mail to: SJSC, 1100 Shasta Avenue, SJ 95126.
c. Submit your printed registration confirmation and contact your bank to set up use of your bank’s Bill Pay service.
d. If you wish to apply for a scholarship, download and complete the application form, and submit by mail: SJSC, 1100 Shasta Avenue, SJ 95126.

STEP 3: Download and upload additional forms as required:
a. If you are submitting proof of vaccination, create and upload a Word or PDF document, and follow the instructions for attaching it to your registration form.
b. If you are a new member, download and complete the Photo Release Form, and submit by mail: SJSC, 1100 Shasta Avenue, SJ 95126.
