Operafest!
This unforgettable afternoon of breathtaking music and soaring voices showcased some of the most beloved opera choruses ever written, performed by an exceptional group of talented musicians featuring San José Symphonic Choir, De Anza College Chorale and Vintage Singers under the direction of IIan Glasman, DMA, Conductor on June 4, 2023. The Nova Vista Symphony performed under the direction of Anthony Quartuccio, Music Director. Soloists included the exquisite mezzo-soprano Ilaria Sacchi from Bologna, Italy, as well as DeAnza students Karli Sharp, soprano and Raul Villasenor, tenor.
