2025-26 Season
SEASON 101: NEW CENTURY
San José Symphonic Choir’s 101st season, “New Century,” marked the choir’s exciting entrance into its second century with three sold-out concerts and two free community performances. The season opened in November 2025 with Lumière, featuring pieces by Fauré, Duruflé, and Robert Ray, followed by a free holiday concert as part of Season of Hope in collaboration with the Silicon Valley Arts Coalition, benefiting Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. Spring 2026 brought two major works: Bach’s monumental St. Matthew Passion in March and Orff’s electrifying Carmina Burana in May. The season closed with the choir’s participation in Make Music San José, a free community celebration honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary.
