Beginning its 83rd season, San Jose Symphonic Choir is one the country's most successful volunteer choral societies. The 110-voice Choir, led by Maestro Leroy Kromm, presents major works for chorus and orchestra in the fall, winter, and spring of each year.

The Choir is well known as the sponsor of San Jose's Christmas time "You-Sing-It Messiah", which for twenty-seven years has brought large audiences/participants to the Center for the Performing Arts. The Choir has just returned from a tour of Scandinavia and St Petersburg. In the summer of 2003, the Choir performed throughout Italy, from Venice to Rome, on an Italian Cathedral Concert Tour.
